In fact, this campaign has started in Turkey, where the black and white photo of women killed by their friend, family is printed in newspapers. Recently, when a man was accused of killing a 27 year old student Pınar Gültekin, women of the country took to the streets in protest against the killings.

Descended This photo challenge stems from Pınar Gültekin's demand for justice and women's protests against such crimes. In this, every woman has to put a black and white picture of her and some other women have to be tagged and motivated to take forward this important movement of Turkish women.

Another understandable thing is that by putting their black and white photos in this way, women are actually giving the message that if nothing is done then one day maybe someone can kill them too and then there black and white picture will be printed in newspapers.

Such important and creepy message got support in many countries of the world besides Turkey. While many celebrities took it forward even in America, it also became very popular in India. But in the meantime, due to its original message being lost somewhere in India, now it is limited to putting only its beautiful looking picture.
