This is the reason why Indian and Australian players will wear armbands in 1st ODI match

It is exciting time for following cricket as India Australia ODI and Test series will be played in Australia in the upcoming days. Indian Team has reached in to the Australia directly from the UAE after the recent happening of IPL in the UAE. The ODI series will be held first starting in the end of November followed by Test series in the mid of December in this year 2020.However it will be noticed in the ODI series that all the cricketers from both the countries will be wearing black armbands during the matches .It will not be the first time that cricketers will be wearing black armbands during the match.

Indian and Australian cricketers will be wearing black armbands and will be keeping two minute silence at the beginning of First ODI match in the Australia as a tribute to legendary Australian Cricketer Dean Jones who died out of Cardiac Arrest recently when he was for a Cricket expedition in India .It has been also being planned to pay big tribute to Jones during the Test series between India and Australia where his family would be invited and his contribution to Cricket will be remembered in the stadium. However it is not the first time that Cricketers will be wearing black armbands in the match.

It was also at the time of Pulwama attack in North Indian region that Indian cricketers wore black armbands as a tribute to martyrs who lost their lives in the attack. This ODI series will also mark the ODI debut of Indian cricketer T Natrajan who outperformed recently in the IPL 2020.While Rohit sharma and Ishant sharma will be not be part of Australian series due to their personal reasons presence of new promising players under the Captaincy of Virat kohli have a fair chance to perform at their best in both of these series.
